Tannhausen Castle

Tannhausen Palace ( Polish : Pałac Jedlinka ) is a palace in Jedlina-Zdrój (Bad Charlottenbrunn) , Lower Silesian Voivodeship .

The place was first mentioned in the 13th century under Bolko I von Schweidnitz and belonged to the rule of the Kynsburg .

The Seherr-Thoß family had owned the place since 1648 . After discovering healing springs , Johann Christoph Freiherr von Seherr-Tross founded the spa . At the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century, today's classicist castle was built, which was acquired in 1861 by the Waldenburg porcelain manufacturer Carl Krister.

In 1880 the von Klitzing family came into possession of the castle, followed by Gustav Adolf Böhm. During the Second World War, the castle was confiscated in connection with the Riese project .

After the region fell to the People's Republic of Poland , the castle became the seat of a PGR . After the fall of the Wall, the castle was privately acquired and restored. A former farm building was converted into the Hotel Pałac Jedlinka .
