Peter Epting

Peter Epting is a Swiss architect and sports official.

Epting worked for the Swiss architecture company Burckhardt + Partner AG from 1967 to 2015, most recently as CEO .

From 1992 to 1996 Epting was president of the football club FC Basel . He continued the consolidation of the financially and athletically threatened football club, which had begun under his predecessor Charles Röthlisberger . Under Epting, the football club was promoted to the National League A in 1994 . Before that, FC Basel had played in the National League B for six years . Epting founded a donors' association, whose financial support was later crucial for the football club's rise.

Epting is married and lives in Riehen .
