Others

Peter Hagenauer and spatial planner Günther Tischler were among a handful of active everyday cyclists who marked the very wide, eastern sidewalk of the "first cycle path" in Graz at night in Wilhelm-Fischer- Allee in June 1980 . Thanks to good press work, a newspaper article appeared, but unexpectedly for the activists already in the evening edition. This was promptly read by the police, who then kept an eye on it ... Deputy Mayor Erich Edegger - without a license and cycling - was the size to replace the template used for the bicycle logo on the asphalt by buying it for the amount of the police penalty or to exchange it for a fine. The cycle path was only officially built here in autumn 1980 - as one of the first two in the city.
