Peter Heining

Peter Heining (born before 1970) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Heining took in the game year 1970/71 with the crew of the SV St. Georg in the competition operation of the basketball league  in part. He was the team's best scorer, but missed relegation with her. For the 1971/72 season Heining moved within Hamburg to the newly promoted Bundesliga Hamburger TB . Due to his good performance, he was a candidate for a place in the squad of the German national team for the 1972 Summer Olympics , but was ultimately not appointed to the Olympic squad. In 1973 he made the leap to the national team.

After he was relegated from the Bundesliga with the HTB, he played with the Hanseatic League in the 2nd basketball Bundesliga and returned with the team in 1979 to the top division and was then again a player for Hamburg in the Bundesliga.
