Peter Jabornegg

Peter Jabornegg (born August 1, 1948 in Wels , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor of labor and social law , corporate law and civil law at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz . He heads the Institute for Labor Law and Social Law.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1966, Peter Jabornegg studied law at what was then the University of Social and Economic Sciences in Linz. In 1971 he received his doctorate, ten years later he completed his habilitation in the fields of civil law and labor law at the law faculty of the JKU.

After working as a university assistant at the Institute for Labor Law and Social Law at the JKU, he became o.Univ.Prof. Appointed for commercial and securities law . Since 1993 he has also been a full university professor for private law, labor law and social law and heads the Institute for labor law and social law. From 2000 to 2003 he was a member of the Senate of the JKU, since 2001 he has been Vice President of the Austrian Society for Labor Law and Social Law.
