Peter John

Peter John (* 1950 / 1951 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

John, who worked as a measurement and control technician, played for Hamburg TB in the basketball league at the beginning of the 1970s . After being relegated to the Bundesliga, the 1.88-meter-tall player was the HTB's top performer in the 2nd Bundesliga , in 1979 he made it back to the top division of Germany with the Hamburg team and was the team's top scorer in the 1978/79 promotion season. He then played with Hamburg again in the Bundesliga.

Among other things, John took part in the European championship in 2006 with the German selection in the age group 55+.
