Peter Kempa (born July 11, 1958 , † February 14, 1995 ) was a German football player .

Career

Via Hermannia Kassel , Peter Kempa came to KSV Hessen Kassel in 1977 , who, like Hermannia, played in the amateur league Hessen. Kempa had a regular place from the start and rose with his team, which meanwhile played in the newly founded Oberliga Hessen , in 1980 under coach Rudi Kröner in the 2nd Bundesliga . After three years there, he moved to Hertha BSC , also second division, and a year later, in 1984, to SSV Ulm 1846 . With Ulm he rose in the first year from the second division to the upper division and switched back to Hessen Kassel during the 1985/86 season, where he played for the amateurs. 1986/87 he was active for 1. SC Göttingen 05 in the Oberliga Nord . Peter Kempa remained active as a player-coach, most recently for the Staufenberg syndicate. The former professional soccer player died unexpectedly during a training match.
