Peter Kronen

Peter Kronen (born July 2, 1881 in Bonn , † January 28, 1960 in Bad Godesberg ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

After attending elementary school, Peter Kronen was trained at a commercial educational institute. After a few years as a businessman , he worked as a railroad worker. In this capacity he completed educational trips to Africa, America, England, Sweden and Holland.

In 1919 he held the post of field railway assistant in Cologne .

From February 1919 to June 1920 he was a member of the Weimar National Assembly as a representative of the "troops in the east" as a member of the Social Democratic Party. In contrast to the large majority of the members of the National Assembly, Kronen was not elected in January 1919 in elections in Germany, but - like Paul Rodemann - on February 2, 1919 in special elections for the German occupation troops still in Eastern Europe as a result of the First World War been.
