Peter Kupsch

Peter Uwe Kupsch (* 1943 in Altlandsberg ) is a German economist as well as tax advisor and auditor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1963, Kupsch did military service in the Bundeswehr . From 1964 to 1968 he studied business administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . At the Faculty of State Economics, he completed his doctorate ( Risk and Decision: A Contribution to the Foundation of Basic Business Models under the Aspect of Risk Behavior , 1971) and the Habilitation ( Accounting for Provisions as Part of the Company's Accounting Policy , 1974). His teacher was Edmund Heinen .

In 1974 he became a professor of business administration at the University of Siegen . In 1980 he was offered the chair for business administration, in particular corporate taxation and auditing at the University of Bamberg . In 1986 he turned down an offer at the Technical University of Berlin . He has now retired.

Kupsch is a tax advisor (since 1979) and auditor (since 1982). From 1988 to 2005 he was a member of the main technical committee of the Institute of Auditors . He has also been a member of the audit committee for auditors in Bavaria since 1984.

He is married and has two children.
