Peter Loos (business IT specialist)

Peter Loos (* 1960 ) is a German business IT specialist and university lecturer .

Loos studied economics at Saarland University and was a research assistant at the Institute for Information Systems at Saarland University under August-Wilhelm Scheer . He held professorships at the Technical University of Chemnitz and the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .

Since 2005 he has held the chair for business administration and business informatics at Saarland University and, as the successor to August-Wilhelm Scheer, director of the Institute for Business Informatics (IWi) at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
