Peter Müller (canoeist)

Peter Müller (* 1965 ) is a former German canoeist in white water racing .

Müller comes from Altrip and was a four-time world champion in the two-man canoe (C2). With his first partner Wolfgang Kennel , the trained carpenter won three world championship titles in the team and with his second partner Gregor Simon he won one world championship title in the individual discipline.

  • 1991 First place at the White Water Canoe World Championship.
  • In 1998 he was athlete of the year in the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis.
  • 2001 set a record in a 24-hour race over 350 km on the Rhine and was thus entered in the Guinness Book of Records .
