Peter Nilsson (born August 8, 1955 ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Nilsson began his career in 1978 at Östers IF , where he was three times Swedish champion. After the end of the 1981 season he moved to Club Bruges , where he was active 77 times in the First Division until 1984 and scored six goals. He then returned to Sweden and ran three seasons for Kalmar FF .

Between 1979 and 1984 Nilsson made 35 international appearances for Sweden . The qualification for a major tournament was missed.
