Peter Otto Rosenørn

Peter Otto Rosenørn (born June 24, 1708 in Tvilumgård ( Denmark ); † February 7, 1751 ibid) was a Danish politician .

Life

Rosenørn was born in 1708 as the son of Colonel Mathias Rosenørn , of the Rosenørn family of mail nobility , and his first wife Antoinette Lisbeth Friis Rosenørn; three days after he was born he was baptized in the Tvilum church . The same son was born three years before he was born, but he died a few weeks later. Rosenørn's mother died when he was less than sixteen years old. In 1718 his father married again.

In 1734 Rosenørn became a chamberlain to King Christian VI. From 1736 to 1738 he was assessor in Højesteret and from 1738 to 1751 magistrate of Nykøbing Amt . In 1738 he became a real councilor of state and in 1744 he became a conference councilor.

Marriage and offspring

On June 7, 1740 he married Eva Margrethe Grüner (1721–1760). The marriage had nine children:

  • Antonette Elisabeth Rosenørn (October 12, 1745 - October 23, 1769)
  • Ebba Ovidia Rosenørn (April 11, 1747 - April 18, 1803)
  • Benedicte Marie Rosenørn (April 7, 1748 - March 9, 1813)
  • Mathildis Rosenørn (born October 24, 1749 - † June 19, 1771)
  • Mathias Peder Otto Rosenørn (* June 24, 1751 - April 13, 1818)
