Peter Pahlberg

Peter Eberhard Pahlberg (born February 14, 1940 in Heydebreck OS , Upper Silesia , Germany ) is a German writer .

Life

Pahlberg grew up during and after the Second World War as the son of a widowed piano teacher in Heydebreck / Kandrzin / Kedzierzyn, Upper Silesia in the Opole / Opole Voivodeship . After attending the Polish-language elementary school and grammar school, he moved with his mother to Frankfurt am Main in 1956, where he studied electrical engineering until 1962 . He then studied computer science and psychology at the TU Darmstadt. He then worked as an engineer for over 30 years in managerial positions in various information technology companies. Among other things, he was a co-founder of Software AG . After the end of the Cold War he began to travel to his family's old homeland and to process his experiences in literature. Now he dedicates himself to writing and computing. He lives near Munich.
