Peter Rickmers (born November 12, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German curler .
In addition to Felix Schulze , Christopher Bartsch and Sven Goldemann, Rickmers completed the team led by John Jahr for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi . The team was eliminated after round eight.
His greatest successes were a seventh place at the European Curling Championship 2011 in Moscow , eleventh place at the 2012 World Curling Championship in Basel and winning the German Championship in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Professionally, as a doctor of aerospace engineering, he heads a working group at the Center for Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM) at the University of Bremen .
He is married and has a daughter.
