Peter Rudolf

Peter Rudolf (* 1958 ) is a German political scientist who has worked for the Science and Politics Foundation (SWP) since 1988 .

Life

After studying political science and Catholic theology at the University of Mainz , he received his doctorate in political science in Frankfurt am Main in 1989 . He was a Congressional Fellow of the American Political Science Association (APSA) in Washington DC, a research fellow at the Hessian Foundation for Peace and Conflict Research (PRIF) in Frankfurt and a Research Fellow at the Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University.

Rudolf received his habilitation at the University of Augsburg in 2000 . From 2003 to 2006 he was one of the chairmen of the International Politics section of the German Political Science Association . He publishes on US and German foreign policy, transatlantic relations, ethical issues, arms control and other international security issues.
