Peter Schmid (born July 26, 1898 ; † unknown) was a Swiss ski jumper , cross-country skier and Nordic combined athlete .

Schmid became Swiss ski champion in 1922 . At the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix , he competed in all three disciplines. In ski jumping from the normal hill, he reached 18th place. In cross-country skiing over 18 km he came in 14th place in the end. In the Nordic combined, he reached 11th place, tied with the American Sigurd Overby .
