Peter Schulting (born August 19, 1987 in Lemele ) is a Dutch cyclist .

Athletic career

Peter Schulting began his career in 2006 with the Dutch Continental Team Cyclingteam Jo Piels . In his second year there he was able to win a stage in the Tour de Berlin and finished fifth behind the overall winner Michael Franzl . In the U23 road race of the Dutch championship, Schulting finished sixth. In 2008 he was unable to contest races due to a serious knee injury.

In 2010, Schulting won at Kernen Omloop Echt-Susteren . In 2016 he won one stage of the Tour de Taiwan and one stage of Kreiz Breizh Elites , and in 2017 he won the Tobago Cycling Classic . In 2018 he won two stages of the Tour of Romania and the Tacx Pro Classic .
