Peter Segl
Peter Segl (born January 25, 1940 in Munich ) is a German historian.
Segl was a professor for medieval history and historical auxiliary sciences at the University of Bayreuth . He studied history, German and geography in Munich, Vienna and Regensburg. In 1971 he was at the University of Regensburg in Kurt Reindel Dr. phil. PhD. The habilitation took place in 1979 at the University of Regensburg . In 1981 he took over a professorship at the University of Augsburg . From 1982 to 1984 he was a professor at the University of Erlangen .
