Peter Simon (actor, 1943)
Peter Simon (born September 27, 1943 in New York ) is an American actor.
Simon is best known from the US soap " Springfield Story ". There he played the Dr. Ed Bauer from 1981 to 1984, 1986 to 1996 and from 2002 to 2004. For this role he was nominated for an Emmy in 1994 and for the Soap Opera Digest Award in 1993, 1994 and 1995 .
Peter Simon has three children with his first wife Merle Louise. He has been married to actress Courteney Sherman since 1975 . The couple have one child together.
