Peter Tiefenbrunner (born October 30, 1952 in Singen (Hohentwiel) ) is a German author , actor and cabaret artist .

Tiefenbrunner was best known through the cabaret duo "brunner & barscheck" with his stage partner Barbara Scheck . This resulted in four stage programs with the titles “upDate”, “reTurn”, “backUp” and “reLoad” (2010). Since 2005 Peter Tiefenbrunner has been writing and speaking as “brunner” a weekly gloss on SR 2 Kulturradio with the title “Brunner's World”.

Tiefenbrunner has - with various co-authors - published numerous children's books as well as written radio plays and radio stories for children. For years he has moderated the cabaret show "Auf in den Keller" on the Saarland broadcasting company .

In 1978, together with Jochen Senf, Alice Hoffmann and Ingrid Braun, he founded the children's and youth theater " Überzwerg " in Saarbrücken, where he worked as an actor, author and director until 1986.

In 1988 Peter Tiefenbrunner worked in the Saarland crime scene “Salü Palu” and in 2010 in the Saarland crime scene “Helpless” .

Peter Tiefenbrunner lives in Saarbrücken.
