The Peter Ustinov Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law founded in 1999 in Munich . by Sir Peter Ustinov with his son Igor Ustinov . It has supported, promoted or initiated around 50 aid projects worldwide.
Funding priorities
The three focal points of the foundation's work lie in helping children in particular need, in the area of education and diversity, and in promoting young, creative talents. In the first area, the foundation cooperates with international project partners; in the other two areas, the foundation relies on its own, long-term projects, which it implements together with public or institutional partners.
For children in particular need
The foundation helps street children and orphans, children who are socially disadvantaged due to poverty or educational deficits and who are excluded from society. It provides medical care in some of the poorest regions of the world and supports the treatment of serious diseases such as noma , which cause disfigurement of the face, forcing people to live in isolation. Together with her international project partners she frees u. a. Girls out of forced prostitution and offers children prospects for a decent future.
