Peter Weber (psychologist)

Peter Weber (* 1955 in Dortmund ) is a German organizational psychologist and holds the chair for communication and counseling at the Diakonie University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld .

Career

After studying physics and astronomy, which Peter Weber graduated with the state examination in 1983, he worked as a parish chaplain from 1985 to 1989 and as a town youth chaplain until 1995. Weber completed his degree in Catholic theology in 1993. From 1989 to 1998 he was pastor at the University of Dortmund . In 1999 he became a research associate at Michael Kastner's department of organizational psychology and received his doctorate in psychology in 2002. Since 2000 he has been a consultant and senior partner of the psychological management consultancy Kastner Partner Consulting . On July 1st, 2009 Weber took over the chair for communication and counseling at the Diakonie University of Applied Sciences. He is the head of the mentoring program.
