Peter Zhuang Jianjian
Peter Zhuang Jianjian (* 1931 in Jiexi ) is the former Catholic bishop of Shantou .
Life
In his youth he attended the Meixian and Shanghai seminars . Despite a 10-year hiatus during the Cultural Revolution , he never changed his mind and entered the Sheshan Seminary in Shanghai in 1985. After completing his studies, he was ordained a priest on December 21, 1986 in the Sheshan Basilica , where he also celebrated his first mass as a priest.
He was ordained bishop of Shantou on September 18, 2006, and resigned from office on January 22, 2018.
