Peterson Ridge is a mountain ridge in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . In the Queen Alexandra chain , it extends from the western part of the Storm Peak massif in a northerly direction.
A team of geologists from Ohio State University who worked in the area between 1969 and 1970 made the designation. It is named after Donald N. Peterson, who belongs to this team and collected basaltic lava from this mountain ridge for petrological and paleomagnetic studies.
