sustainability

Since 2009, only sustainable coffee has been processed in the PetitBistros. The 300 tons of coffee beans required annually bear the UTZ Certified seal. The seal guarantees sustainable cultivation and control of the specifications throughout the entire production process.

Coffee study

Since 2011, Aral has been investigating trends in the coffee business and coffee consumption among German citizens aged 18 and over in an annual nationwide representative coffee study with the PetitBistro brand. The study shows, among other things, the increasing popularity of coffee-to-go and shows the changing preferences of coffee drinkers, for example when it comes to preparation. The third edition published in June 2013 also contains results on the subject of on-the-go care.
