Petr Čoupek (born May 10, 1982 in Brno ) is a Czech football player .

Player career

Petr Čoupek played for FC Brno in his youth . In 1999 the defender , who can also be used in midfield, moved to Bayer 04 Leverkusen . At Bayer, he first came into play in his youth and became German A-Juniors champion in 2000 under coach Thomas Hörster . From the 2000/01 season he was used in the amateur team of the club and made a total of 79 games and scored one goal for Bayer in three seasons. During this time, Čoupek rose with the reserve of Leverkusen from the Oberliga Nordrhein to the Regionalliga Nord , in which he was used in a total of 55 games between 2001 and 2003.

In 2003 the left-footed player moved to FC Slovácko , for whom he made his debut in the Gambrinus Liga . In August 2005, Čoupek signed a three-year contract with Baník Ostrava . In summer 2008 he moved to his former youth club 1. FC Brno.
