Petr Zelenka (2018)

Petr Zelenka (born August 21, 1967 in Prague ) is a Czech playwright, scriptwriter and director.

Zelenka was v. a. known for the black comedy Tales of Everyday Madness (Příběhy obyčejného šílenství), which he directed at the Dejvické Theater in Prague. For this he received the Alfred Radok Prize for the best piece. The piece continued to be sold in several countries, including a. Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Slovakia are listed. It was also published in English and Russian. In 2005 a film emerged from this, which received two awards and was nominated for a further six. His film about the Karamazov brothers was an official Czech Oscar entry.
