Petra Anders

Petra Anders (born November 26, 1972 in Salzgitter ) is Professor of German Didactics in Primary School at the Institute for Educational Sciences at the Humboldt University in Berlin .

Academic vita

Anders studied German and history as well as philosophy at the University of Göttingen and the University of Vienna from 1992 to 1999 . After her legal clerkship in Berlin, she was a student councilor in Brandenburg, Baden-Württemberg and Hamburg. In 2010 she did her doctorate with the subject “ Poetry Slam in German Classes” at the University of Bremen. From 2011 to 2012 she was a visiting scholar at Teachers College, Columbia University , New York City (focus: digital storytelling, cultural studies). Her main research interests are film and literature didactics as well as education in a world that is also shaped by digital technology. She lives in Berlin, is married and has three children.
