Petra Ivanov

Petra Ivanov (born September 5, 1967 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist and writer .

Life

Petra Ivanov was born in Zurich in 1967. She lived in the United States for eight years and returned to Switzerland in 1979 at the age of twelve. After studying at the Zurich interpreting school, she worked as a translator, language teacher and editor, and later as a journalist in various editorial offices. Today Petra Ivanov lives as a writer in Zurich .

At the Leipzig Book Fair on March 17, 2011, Ivanov received the Kranichsteiner Youth Literature Grant for her youth novel Escape .
