Petra Krümpfer (born April 14, 1959 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the Bremen Parliament .

biography

Krümpfer graduated from a vocational school with a secondary school leaving certificate . She then attended the technical college for social pedagogy and social economy in Findorff to obtain the technical college entrance qualification. She then studied at the University of Bremen and acquired the academic degree of a diploma in social education . In her job she worked from October 1983 to August 1992 at the Verein Nachbarschaftshaus Bremen e. V. After that she worked until June 1995 as deputy day-care center manager in a workers welfare organization (AWO). Since July 1st, 1995 she has been the director of the AWO children's home Annemarie Mevissen .

She is single, has two children and lives in Gröpelingen .

politics

Krümpfer joined the SPD in 1979 and has been deputy chairwoman of her party since 2004, and since 2010 chairwoman of the SPD local association Gröpelingen . In addition, she had been a member of the executive board of the SPD Bremen as secretary since March 2006 and was treasurer of the SPD Bremen from 2008 to 2016. She has been a member of the SPD's regional executive committee since 2016. In terms of local politics , she was a member of the Gröpelingen Advisory Board from 1999 to 2007 , spokesperson for the Education, Culture and Sport Committee .

Krümpfer has been a member of the Bremen citizenship since the 2007 election. Krümpfer is the parliamentary group spokeswoman for children and youth. There she is represented in the youth welfare committee, state youth welfare committee, city deputation for children and education as well as social affairs, youth and integration.
