Petra Kunik
Petra Kunik (* 1945 in Magdeburg ) is a German writer.
Life
Kunik grew up in Frankfurt am Main. She is an active member of the Jewish community . As a trained actress, she began her career in 1963 as "Little Prince" in the basement theater Die Katakombe . In addition to various engagements at the theater, she also directed and appeared as the author of children's theater pieces , for example The Magic Clown . She has also staged literary reviews for adults. Since 1988 Petra Kunik has been writing books with titles such as The Gifted Grandfather and Vom Hohen Rabbi Löw und seine Golem .
Kunik is an interreligious / intercultural speaker and freelance writer. She is the 1st chairwoman of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation in Frankfurt am Main and member of the board of the interreligious women group Sara - Hagar Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate , a founding member of the egalitarian minyan in the Jewish community of Frankfurt / M. She is also a member of the discussion group Jews and Christians in the Central Committee of German Catholics and board member of the Abrahamic Forum in Germany
