Dominikus Bergmüller
Dominikus Bergmüller (born July 23, 1707 in Türkheim , † after 1773 ibid) was a German Kistler (carpenter and joiner), Menuisier and artisan. He was the son of Andreas Bergmüller and the brother of Anton Bergmüller . He was the father of Franz Joseph Bergmüller and Johann Bergmüller . In 1731 he took over the father's property and workshop. He worked with Dominikus Zimmermann and Ignaz Hillenbrand . Next to his cousin Johann Georg Bergmüller , he was the most important member of the Bergmüller family. He worked beyond the central Swabian area and made a name for himself as an altar builder .
