Petra Scherer

Petra Scherer (born April 12, 1970 in Dillingen / Saar ) is a former Saarland politician ( SPD ).

education and profession

After completing primary school in Schmelz - Hüttersdorf , she attended the state secondary school in Dillingen , where she obtained her Abitur in 1989. She then studied political science and German at the Saarland University until 1997 . In 1998 and 1999, she completed an internship in the press office of the Saarland State Chancellery.

politics

Scherer has been a member of the SPD since 1986. Since 1997 she has been the deputy chairwoman of the Saarlouis district association . She has chaired the SPD women in the Saarlouis district association (since 2003) and the Saarwellingen community association (since 2004). In addition, Scherer was state chairman of the falcons in Saarland from 2002 to 2008 .

The state parliament of Saarland belonged Scherer since the twelfth legislative term of (1999). There she was a member of the submissions and home affairs, data protection, family, women and sport, and finance and budgetary committees . Since the election in summer 2009, Scherer is no longer a member of the Saarland state parliament. Nothing is known about your work after the mandate.
