Petra Wziontek

Petra Wziontek (born August 30, 1960 in Cologne ) is a former German high jumper .

Petra Wziontek finished six times in the top eight at the German Indoor Championships between 1979 and 1986, and in 1979 and 1980 she was runner-up behind Ulrike Meyfarth . Outdoors she was able to place four times in the top eight between 1978 and 1984, in 1982 she finished second behind Meyfarth.

Wziontek appeared in the national jersey a total of eight times. At the European Athletics Cup in 1979 , she finished sixth. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1980 in Sindelfingen, she was fifth.

She set her personal best of 1.91 m on June 24, 1979 in Bremen . Petra Wziontek started for ASV Cologne .
