Petra van Oyen

Petra van Oyen (born April 25, 1961 in Trier ) is a German entrepreneur. She is also a former TV sports presenter and tennis player .

The 1.72 meter tall native of Trier completed her school career in her hometown with a secondary school leaving certificate. Petra van Oyen, who started for ETUF Essen , won the German tennis championship twice and was on the pitch in Paris , Wimbledon and Flushing Meadows in the course of her professional career , ended her sporting career in 1983 due to an injury.

This was followed by 2.5 years of work at ZDF . In February 1987 she switched to the private broadcaster RTL , where she spent the following twelve years of her professional life. There she moderated the news and worked as a reporter in tennis as well as boxing, motorsport and football.

After her work in television, she worked for Audi AG, where she was in charge of the company's sports communications.

After she had already taken over the company shares of her brothers, she has been running the business of PAVOY GmbH, founded by her father, since summer 2004.
