Petras Poškus

Petras Poškus (born December 15, 1935 in Perloja , Varėna district ; † January 5, 2004 ) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

In 1954 he graduated from the Vilniaus žemės ūkio technikumas in Vilnius and became an agronomist . In 1978 he graduated from the Agricultural Organization Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in Kaunas . From 1955 to 1958 he served in the Soviet Army in Russia . From 1958 to 1959 he worked in the "Laisvosios žemės" - collective farm in the district of Biržai as a chief agronomist and from 1959 to 1990 as a collective farm manager . From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy at the Seimas .
