Petro Mychailowytsch Avramenko ( Ukrainian Петро Михайлович Авраменко ; born June 30, 1978 in Mokljaky , Ukrainian SSR , Soviet Union) is a Ukrainian theater actor and director.

Life

Avramenko has been working as an actor in the Zhytomyr Oblast Music and Drama Theater since March 2000 . In 2009 he studied theater directing at the Kiev National University of Theater, Film and Television - Karpenko-Kary and has been a director at the Ukrainian Academic Theater of Music and Drama Ivan Kocherha ( Ukrainian Іван Антонович Кочерга ) in Zhytomyr since 2012 . There he staged, among other things, the play "Escape from Reality" by Tetjana Iwaschtschenko (ukr. Тетяна Петрівна Іващенко ) from 2004, "Tartar" ("Тартар") by Oles Berdnyk (ukr. Олесь Бердко ) from 2005 “Song of Songs” by Scholem Alejchem (Jewish play, 2009) and “Life in Contradiction with Fate” (Polish-Jewish play, 2010).

In 2013 he was awarded the title “Artist of the Year” by the city of Zhytomyr. In 2016 he was invited to the Theater Augsburg as Artist in Residence .
