Petrus van der Let

Petrus van der Let (born June 1, 1949 in Vienna ) is an Austrian author , director and producer of documentary films .

Petrus van der Let made several documentaries on the roots of National Socialism and racism as well as on the origin of religions and myths in the perception of babies. Books for these films were published by Alibri-Verlag in 1999 and 2004 respectively.

In 1999 the book Ware Kind was published , which van der Let co-authored with Guido and Michael Grandt. Another book was published in 2003 with The Will to Fate .

Petrus van der Let was a proponent in 1994 and later for several years on the board of the “Austrian Directors Association” (ADA). In 2005/2006 he was chairman of the ADA.

Van der Let has been married to lawyer Zoe Vangelatou since 1979. Their daughter Nike was born in 1985. She is an actress herself and attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna .
