The Pfühlbrunnen is a listed fountain on Fasanenstrasse in Heilbronn .
history
The Pfühlbrunnen goes back to a spring set in 1795, which was framed in 1858 and supplemented with stone benches. In 1905 the complex was completed by planting a linden tree. To the southeast of the Pfühlbrunnen is the Pfühlpark , which was laid out in the 1930s .
The fountain was moved to the southeast in the autumn of 1936 when the Pfühlstrasse and Schlizstrasse were built. In 2005 it was renovated by the Friends of Gardening and Building Culture.
The flanks of the spring version are provided with inscriptions. On the left it says: Once a swampy pool, this shaded spot is now a comfortable feeling for everyone who desires peace and quiet. On the right it says: Anyone who can now comfort themselves from the more beautiful Borne, thanks the city by keeping it clean.
