Rectory (Wippenhausen)

Rectory in Wippenhausen

The rectory in Wippenhausen ( Freising district ) is a listed building.

history

The rectory was built in Wippenhausen in 1830. It was actually supposed to be built in Burghausen (like Wippenhausen today, a district of Kirchdorf an der Amper ) because the village was larger. But since there was no donor of land in Burghausen, the rectory was built in Wippenhausen.

Today it houses the parish office and a parish group room. Part of the rectory is used as a private apartment.

description

The building is a two-storey, cubic hipped roof with a floor plan. It also includes a long, narrow outbuilding with a gable roof that was built at the same time, as well as a coach house with a gable roof and a wide gate opening from the second half of the 19th century.
