The Roman Catholic parish church Dobritsch is in the village of Dobritsch in the market town of Guttaring in the district of Sankt Veit an der Glan in Carinthia . The parish church of St. Martin belongs to the Deanery Friesach in the diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt . The church is a listed building .

history

A church was documented in 1394. The Gothic choir from 1522 has been preserved. The nave was changed in baroque style around 1780 . In 1999 there was an exterior restoration.

architecture

The Gothic church building with a baroque altered nave has a stone slab roof. The baroque west tower has an open vestibule on the ground floor and has a short pointed helmet. The round arched west portal shows a late Gothic relief head and pine cones in the reveal. The portal door has old fittings.

The nave has a flat ceiling, which was restored in 1965. The baroque window openings were made around 1780. The Gothic triumphal arch is ogival. The one-bay choir with a five-eighth closure is vaulted with a late Gothic net rib vault on consoles. On the south wall of the choir is the year 1522. The choir windows have tracery noses. The choir has a sacrament niche with a rosette grille.

Furnishing

The three polychromed altars date from the middle of the 17th century.
