The parish church of Linz-Guter Hirte is located in the Neue Heimat district of Linz , Kleinmünchen in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church Guter Hirte belongs to the dean's office Linz-Süd in the diocese of Linz .

history

The first church, a wooden structure, was built in 1950 as a branch of the parish church in Kleinmünchen for the newly created district of Neue Heimat. Today's church was built from 1976 to 1978 according to plans by Gottfried Nobl and Othmar Kainz and in 1979 raised to the status of an independent parish.

The glass windows were designed by Rudolf Kolbitsch . The figure of the Good Shepherd is by Jakob Adlhart , the reliefs of the Cross by Leopold Hollnbuchner . The organ was made by Friedrich Heftner in 1988.
