Othmar Kainz

Othmar Kainz (born May 12, 1927 ; † December 31, 2011 in Linz ) was an Austrian architect.

Life

Othmar Kainz studied architecture. From 1957 to 1992 he was an architect in the building department of the Diocese of Linz and, during this time, planned several new church buildings in Upper Austria - mostly together with master builder Gottfried Nobl .

Kainz also worked for the Mission in Brazil (Jequitiba). He was a member of the Austrian Association of Engineers and Architects.
