The parish church Krakauebene is on a hillside in Krakauebene in the municipality of Krakow in the Murau district in Styria . The Roman Catholic parish church , consecrated to St. Ulrich of Augsburg , belongs to the Murau deanery in the Graz-Seckau diocese . The church with the rectory and cemetery are under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

The church was built from 1790 to 1793 by master mason Lorenz Ferner. The interior of the church was restored in 1975.

architecture

The church building stands with the three-axis rectory attached to the east under a shared gable roof. The roof turret over the western front carries an onion and a lantern.

The nave with rectangular windows has a wooden shallow barrel from 1975 with lambrequing cornices, flat wall pilasters split into three yokes. The wooden west gallery is from 1975.

Furnishing

The high altar, probably dated 1750 in relation to the frame, has statues by Balthasar Prandtstätter around 1740.

The organ in Baroque tradition was built by Ludwig Mooser in 1867 . One bell is from the 15th century.
