architecture
The church has a wide short nave with an east-facing choir and a south tower. The church is separated from the old market street in the south by a wall; in the north of the church there is a steep rock wall.
The undivided, unified nave from 1843/1845 with arched windows has a hipped roof with a ridge facing north-south. The Gothic choir with the same height as the nave connects to the central nave in the same width, the choir has round-arched Gothic windows between buttresses, the eastern window has been redesigned to a smaller circular window. The Gothic, square south tower merges into an octagon at the top and has an onion helmet from 1843, which was renewed in 1962.
Furnishing
The high altar with a wall structure extends from the side with volutes. It was made in 1747 by the sculptor Franz Schuester from Vienna and the painter Thomas Fürst from Marbach. The altarpiece has the motif St. Martin raises a dead person and was replaced in 1838. On top of the tabernacle is a gilded wooden statue from the second half of the 15th century depicting the Madonna and Child.
The organ was built by Franz Meinl (1848).
