The Roman Catholic parish church Neukirchen bei Lambach is located in Neukirchen bei Lambach in the municipality of Neukirchen bei Lambach in the Wels-Land district in Upper Austria . The church, consecrated to St. Stephen , belongs to the Gaspoltshofen dean's office in the Linz diocese . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .

architecture

The late-Gothic hall church has a two-aisled three-bay rib vaulted nave and a retracted two-and-a-half bay rib vaulted choir with a three-eighth end. The mighty west tower has a baroque onion helmet.

Furnishing

The decor is neo-Gothic. The high altar shows a painting by Friedrich Tomee (Schwind student) from Munich (1871). Larger-than-life statues of St. Florian and St. Leopold around 1700 from the former high altar of the Desselbrunn parish church. The wrought iron chandelier is from the second half of the 17th century. The baptismal font is late Gothic.
