history

The church was mentioned in a document in 1256 as a branch church. The late Gothic church building around 1500 was structurally extended in 1954/1955 according to plans by the architect Hans Feichtlbauer and also received a new tower.

architecture

The two-bay, ribbed vaulted choir with a three-eighth end has been preserved from the Gothic church building. At right angles to this, a new nave with a half-circle choir was built in the south. The new tower stands in the northeast by the Gothic choir and has a pointed helmet.

The fresco Last Judgment in the new choir was created by Johann Hazod . The new church window was painted by the artist Hans Plank (1955).
