The Perchau parish church is located in the village of Perchau am Sattel in the market town of Neumarkt in Styria in the Murau district in Styria . The Roman Catholic parish church consecrated to St. Gotthard belongs to the dean's office Murau in the diocese of Graz-Seckau . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection ( list entry ).

history

A church was documented in 1358. Parish since 1792. In 1851 the church was rebuilt.

architecture

The outside of the church shows a roof turret over the western front of the nave. At the choir with a straight end, the sacristy is attached to the east as a five-eighth end.

The interior of the church shows the nave and choir under flat-domed vaults. The west gallery is triaxial.

Furnishing

The high altar shows a picture and carries the statues Heinrich and Leonhard. The side altars in neo-Gothic framing show the Holy Family by Josef Veiter 1854 on the left and the crucifixion by Josef Veiter on the right. Josef Veiter also created the Stations of the Cross.

The gothic carved statue of Mary with child around 1420/1430 is in safekeeping.

There is a bell from the 13th / 14th centuries. Century.
