Church building

Church exterior

The building is a small late Gothic church. The west tower has a Gothic substructure and was completed with a baroque hood in 1616. The south portal has late Gothic robes . The chapel to the north of the church and the two vestibules at both entrances are from the first half of the 17th century. The windows were enlarged in 1725.

Church interior

The church is a three-aisled hall church . The four-bay nave is vaulted with mesh ribs . The patterns of the nets are cross-yoke, but not cross-ship. This emphasizes the breadth of the church. The vault rests on slender, fluted pillars. The three-bay choir is relatively strongly drawn in, above it is a star rib vault . The choir has a 3/8 ending. The oratorios date from the 17th and the first half of the 18th century. These are barrel-vaulted with stucco caps and stucco moldings from the middle of the 17th century. Matthias Auhuber painted the baroque frescoes in the choir in 1725.

Furnishing

The high altar was built in the last third of the 17th century. The Trinity group in the essay is probably older. The side altars and the pulpit were built around 1700. The figural jewelry is partly very well executed. On the left side altar is a seated “Mother of God with Child” from the years between 1620 and 1630. It was probably made by Hans Spindler for the church in Heiligenleithen . The baptismal font is late Gothic.

Bell jar

The bell was cast in 1770.
